1ST ANNUAL CHD CHARITY ARTIST CANVAS

 

For my inaugural charity fundraising event, I decided to support two distinct causes. We successfully raised $1000 for Conquering CHD. Additionally, during the same week, Conquering CHD announced a special initiative for CHD (congenital heart defects) week, pledging to match every dollar donated, up to $5000. This means that our initial contribution of $1000 effectively resulted in a total fundraising impact of $2000, thanks to their generous matching program.

We accomplish this through awareness, community, knowledge, and research.Conquering CHD serves as a beacon of hope for CHD patients and families and we invite you to join us in the fight against the most common birth defect. Together, we are #ConqueringCHD!"

The second Charity we chose to help was "The Brexton Foundation" Fulfilling a long-standing dream, I aimed to assist individuals facing the same heart disease and contribute to making a positive impact on the world. Brexton's story serves as a powerful inspiration, encapsulating the harsh reality of the challenges endured by heart warriors from birth. While not everyone in our community survives, we find solace in the fact that Brexton has earned his wings, free from scars, now looking down upon us with his radiant smile and angelic eyes from the heavens. In our collective efforts, we successfully raised a total of $2600.
